ALL ALUMNI & FRIENDS
You may have attended the dinner, maybe just the reception. Maybe you made an effort to say hi to someone you thought was shy, or started a converation with someone who was a complete stanger to you. Maybe you pre-ordered some HHS memorabilia or sent some sort of donation. However you may have contributed, we thank each and every one who attended and helped in any way. It is what helped to made our 30th reunion a huge success. Whether a true alumni, or friend of our alumni, we were happy to have you there, happy to have you share in our evening, and welcome you to the next event.

Reprinted from our 30th Reunion Memory Booklet:

"As each of contemplate tonight’s event, we are taken back to those years that we spent with fellow classmates. We remember them and how we felt about them, whether good or bad. The five year reunion was more of a party, we were young and single (most of us anyway) and still the person we were just five short years earlier. The 10 and 15 year reunions found us beginning our lives, perhaps with a spouse, raising a young family and trying to get a foothold on adult life. At the 20 and 25 year reunions, we saw each other in a different light. Many of us had divorced, some had a grandchild or two, success had visited many and some faced hard times. We approach our 30th reunion at a time when the economy is at it's worst since we graduated. Many of us are out of work, some are facing health issues that come along with growing older, some have faced the loss of a spouse or child and many of us have lost at least one parent. We come together 30 years later not to compare who looks best, who has the most hair, who is the most successful, but rather to offer each other a compassionate shoulder, to find our similarities and forget the differ- ences. The passage of time allows us to forgive those who hurt us as im- mature 16 year olds and find that we actually have a lot in common. This reunion is about sharing memories, enjoying a meal together, hearing favorite songs and maybe even loosening up enough to dance. We are glad each of you chose to join us this evening. Without you here to share your memories, they may be forgotten."
